Automatic calibrated tamper will compress down when applying force, and gently go back up when released. This mechanism will help aid in shot consistency with one of the many variables (tamp pressure) when making espresso. Unlike simple espresso tampers, this calibrated tamper will allow you to achieve consistent espresso quality each time.
